Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo and the Associate Justices of the Supreme Court took time to listen to the concerns of the Quezon City trial court judges during a dialogue on January 26, 2023 at the Quezon City Hall Complex in Diliman, Quezon City.

With the Chief Justice were Senior Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen and Associate Justices Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, Jhosep Y. Lopez, Ricardo R. Rosario, Jose Midas P. Marquez, Antonio T. Kho, Jr., and Maria Filomena D. Singh.

During the dialogue, Chief Justice Gesmundo told the Regional Trial Court and Metropolitan Trial Court judges: “We have to listen to our people in the field. We want to listen to you. Let us address the problems. Let us work together.”

The Chief Justice also shared to the judges the Court’s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations for 2022-2027. For their part, the judges expressed gratitude to the Chief Justice and Associate Justices for listening to their issues and concerns and assured them of their full support and cooperation in the reforms under the SPJI in order to improve the administration of justice. (Courtesy of the Supreme Court Public Informaion Office)
