About the Firm

Mission:

To render competent and effective legal services both in the digital and physical realms, imbued with commitment to excellence and integrity.

Vision:

To become a reputable law firm in Southern Philippines as it carves internet footprints, accessible both in local and in the international spheres.

The idea of forming a law firm dates back to 1996 when the founding member of the law firm, Atty. Tiburcio M. Palasan, Jr. was still an associate at LIBRA LAW firm in Butuan City. He was active in the private practice of law in Butuan City and surrounding provinces and cities. But having been educated mostly in Cagayan de Oro from high school until law school at Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, he was already planning to establish his private law practice in Cagayan de Oro City.

In the year 2000, the founding member of the firm started his private law practice in Cagayan de Oro City as single lawyer law office, then situated at Gomez corner Pabayo streets, this city. In 2003, Atty. Angelino Galeon, now still a member of the firm, was part of the informal partnership of two lawyers. In 2008, the law office added to its roster a newcomer, Atty. Apolinario Odilon. Much later, Atty. Lawrence del Puerto joined.

The first attempt for Palasan and Associates to gain a digital presence was in 2008. The law firm went online. However due to technical difficulties, owing to the very slow internet speed, the digital presence was terminated.

In 2013, the law firm relocated to Ramada Goodwill building at Rizal corner Fernandez streets. Much later, the law firm included in its roster of lawyers Atty. Michael Carl L. Eclevia, Aleczandra M. Castillo, and Olezardo Jose Uy. Meanwhile, Atty. Angelino Galeon has been consistently with the firm since 2003.

Cognizant of the rapid digitalization of professions and enterprises, the law firm has decided to re-establish its digital presence to best cater to the public. In 2020, the law firm made its presence in the social media, particularly Facebook. However, the social media platform is inadequate.

The law firm migrates from the social media to the standard website format. This will make the digital presence more comprehensive. Law materials, blogs, legal updates, lectures on demand, and legal consultations shall be made available in electronic platform for easy access to legal services.
